If your Apex Legends is freezing on Xbox, it might be time for some basic troubleshooting. Start with a simple console restart - the classic turn it off and on again. If that doesn't work, check for any pending game or system updates. Outdated software often causes these freeze-ups. Also, clearing the console cache can work wonders. Go to your Xbox's settings, find the 'Storage' or 'Blu-ray' option, and clear the persistent storage. If none of these steps work, it might be a good idea to reinstall the game. Sometimes files get corrupted and a fresh install is just what the doctor ordered!

Just delete and reinstall the game. Works like a charm most times.

Honestly, it might just be your Xbox showing its age. Apex is pretty demanding and older consoles can struggle.

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
