Ah, the dreaded check swing! It's usually caused by pressing the swing button too lightly or hesitating halfway. Make sure to commit fully to your swings!

Been there, done that! Check swings are all about timing and input pressure. Try holding your swing button a bit longer for a full swing.

Your batter's check swing is because you鈥檙e not pressing the swing button with enough force. Just go all-in on that button!

Check swings happen if you tap the swing button instead of holding it. Give that button a firm press, and you'll be smashing homers instead!

If you're a MLB The Show Companion App player looking for extra credit or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in MLB The Show Companion App essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
