Why does my mouse stop working in GTA San Andreas?
PleasingSkip路7 months agoAh, the classic GTA San Andreas mouse issue. Happens to the best of us! It's usually because the game is kinda old and sometimes struggles with newer systems. Try running it in compatibility mode for Windows XP or 98, and don't forget to run it as an administrator. This tweaks the game into thinking it's back in the good old days and often fixes the mouse problem.

Honestly, just get a controller. San Andreas was designed in the console era, so ditch the mouse and embrace the gamepad life. It's the way it was meant to be played.
Just alt-tab out and back into the game. Works like a charm for me every time the mouse decides to go on holiday mid-game. It's like giving it a quick pep talk to get back to work.
