Make sure there's no interference between your controller and the console. Things like other wireless devices can mess with the connection.

I had this same problem and it turned out my controller's battery was dying. Make sure it's fully charged.

Try resetting the controller by pressing the small reset button on the back with a pin. It fixed mine!
