Why doesn't Netflix have all of One Piece?

Netflix might not have all of One Piece due to licensing issues. Licenses for anime, especially long-running ones like One Piece, are often split across different regions and platforms. This means Netflix might have the rights to stream it in some countries but not others, or they only secured a portion of the series. Additionally, the sheer volume of episodes makes it a hefty investment.

Cost and licensing, mate. Netflix juggles a lot with what shows to keep and for how long. One Piece is huuuuge, so maybe they're testing the waters with a few seasons first.

Netflix probably didn鈥檛 think all of us wanted to binge 900+ episodes. Jokes on them, right?

Trust me, it's all about the $$$ and paperwork. Licenses for anime are crazy complicated!

If you're a One Piece fan, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Crunchyroll gift card, which you can win and use to stream anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
