Your PS4/PS5 might be in rest mode. Downloads can be faster in rest mode because fewer system resources are used. Give it a shot!

Some ISPs throttle download speeds for gaming. Use a wired connection instead of Wi-Fi for faster downloads and avoid peak hours if you can.

Honestly, PSN speed issues are often due to Sony's servers. It happens more frequently during big game releases or updates.

The culprit could be your internet connection or PSN server congestion. Try pausing and resuming the download. It sometimes gives it a boost!

There's a trick! Change your DNS settings to Google's (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4). It won't hurt to give it a go.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
