Had the same issue last week – a quick uninstall and reinstall of the app did the trick for me!
I've seen this happen when there's a bad internet connection. Make sure your Wi-Fi or mobile data is stable.
It’s probably just a bug. Close the app completely and restart it. If it persists, consider reporting it to Zynga support.
