I used to play all the time, and it lagged because my phone was too old. Try using a newer device or checking your Wi-Fi speed.
It's probably your internet connection. Slither.io's servers can also get overloaded when there are a lot of players. Happens to everyone!
Slither.io might lag because of a few reasons鈥攖oo much traffic, your internet connection being slower than a snail, or even your device running out of juice. Try clearing your cache, closing other tabs, or giving your snail... I mean snake, a faster connection!
