The app stores lots of temporary files to load things faster. Clear out that cache and you'll see some space come back.
Snapchat takes up a lot of storage because all those photos, videos, and cached data add up! Try clearing the cache in the app settings to free up some space.
It's probably just your meme stash taking over. Trim it down or let Snapchat handle storage in the background. Problem solved!
