It's a licensing thing. Audiobooks often have different licensing agreements compared to music, making it more complex and expensive for Spotify to offer a large selection.

Because audiobook rights are a nightmare to negotiate, my friend. Music rights are already tough, but audiobooks take it to another level.
Audiobooks ain't Spotify's main focus. They're all about that sweet, sweet music, not so much about storytelling.
