In my experience, it shows 99 hours because my Wi-Fi was throwing a tantrum. Once I gave it a stern talking-to (a.k.a. rebooted), the download speed picked up.
99 hours? More like 99 seconds once you restart your router or pause the download for a sec.
Sometimes it just shows because your console is feeling dramatic! It's more likely an internet hiccup than an actual 99-hour wait.
