State of Decay 2 might keep crashing on Xbox One due to issues like corrupted game files or an overheating console. Make sure your console has proper ventilation and consider reinstalling the game!

It could be because your Xbox One's system software needs updating. Check for updates and apply them. It helped me when my game kept crashing!

Sometimes it crashes because there's simply too much action happening at once for the older hardware to handle smoothly. Reduce the number of active zombies by clearing out infested areas.

Overheating or network issues. Keep your console cool and check your internet connection.

Honestly, this game just has some bugs. Restart your console and hope for the best?
