Honestly, it might be your internet connection. A weak or unstable connection can cause serious lag even on a great PC.
From my experience, using a VPN can sometimes cause lag. If you're using one, try turning it off and see if that improves things!
Sometimes it's just a matter of having too many background applications running鈥攃lose some of them and see if it helps!
