Oh, the classic alt-tab crash, a gamer's nightmare! Valorant, like many high-performance games, can sometimes be a bit finicky when it comes to minimizing or switching windows. This could be due to a few reasons: firstly, it might be your game's settings. Try running the game in Windowed or Borderless Window mode, which tends to play nicer with tabbing out. Secondly, it could be a graphics driver issue. Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date, as outdated drivers are notorious for causing issues. And thirdly, check for background applications that might be conflicting with Valorant. Sometimes, other software can cause the game to crash when you alt-tab.

It's just bad luck, dude. Play in windowed mode, problem solved.

As a person who's been through the ringer with this, I found out it was my outdated GPU drivers causing the issue. Updated them, and voila, no more crashes when alt-tabbing. Also, make sure to close any heavy background apps; helps a ton!

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
