Wordscapes often pauses your music because the game includes its own sound effects and background music, which can interfere with your tunes. Just disable the sound in Wordscapes settings to keep jamming!

App developers sometimes set their game to pause other audio sources by default. I found that muting Wordscapes lets me listen to my playlist uninterrupted.

The game's audio settings can be a bit aggressive. Turn off 'Music' and 'Sound Effects' in Wordscapes settings, and you should be good to go.

Honestly, it's random app behavior. Just mute the game's audio in settings and problem solved.

If you're a Wordscapes player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Wordscapes essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
