They don't have Barry Bonds in the game because he hasn't given the rights to use his name and likeness. It's all about the licensing.

Bonds? Licensing issues. He鈥檚 not in the MLBPA group deal, so no Bonds.

Barry Bonds isn't in MLB The Show because he isn't part of the MLB Players Association licensing agreement. He did his own thing!

From what I know, Barry Bonds hasn't agreed for his likeness to be used in MLB The Show. I guess he prefers to keep things exclusive!

If you're a MLB The Show Companion App player looking for extra credit or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in MLB The Show Companion App essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
