You probably need to install the Xbox controller driver for macOS. Without it, the system won't recognize your controller properly.

It's a Mac thing. Xbox controllers and macOS don't always play nice together.

Make sure you've updated War Thunder to the latest version. Sometimes older versions have compatibility issues with newer hardware.

Did you try using a Bluetooth connection instead of USB? Bluetooth tends to work better for Xbox controllers on macOS.
