The P-51A just isn't popular enough, or they might be waiting for the right moment to introduce it.
They probably didn't include the P-51A because they wanted to focus on the later, more iconic versions like the P-51D.
Sometimes, certain planes just don't make the cut; could be technical, historical, or just a development choice.
