Unfortunately, WhatsApp doesn't support voice calls on Apple Watch yet. You can get message notifications though!

This is normal; WhatsApp hasn't enabled call support on Apple Watch. Maybe in the future, fingers crossed!
Just stick to checking your phone for now. WhatsApp calls won't ring on your wrist, sorry!
