Make sure you're connected to the internet! Sometimes an offline session won't sync properly, and those bananas might be lost to the ether.
I've had the same issue before! What worked for me was restarting the app. Give it a try and see if your bananas appear.
Sometimes, bananas just magically disappear. It's a bug. Report it to Gameloft!
