Dragon Ball GT is often disliked due to its departure from the manga’s original storyline and Akira Toriyama’s limited involvement. Many fans felt that the new character designs and story arcs didn’t live up to the high standards set by Dragon Ball Z.

Some fans hate GT because the power scaling and transformations, like Super Saiyan 4, seemed inconsistent with the rules established in Z. They felt it undermined the growth and development from previous series.

Honestly, GT isn't *THAT* bad. It has its moments, but it just couldn't capture the magic of DBZ. Maybe it’s time for a rewatch with an open mind?

The animation quality and pacing of Dragon Ball GT didn’t resonate well with fans. It sometimes felt dragged out with less exciting fights compared to the epic battles in DBZ.
