Why does Fallout 4 keep crashing?
HouselingMoon·7 months agoI found out the hard way that running Fallout 4 on my ancient laptop was a recipe for disaster. Turns out, my graphics card was basically a potato. Upgraded to a new PC and voila! No more crashes. Make sure your hardware isn't the bottleneck!

Fallout 4 crashes often boil down to a few common issues: outdated mods, not enough memory, or conflicts between the game and your system's drivers. First, make sure all your mods are up to date. If that doesn't solve it, check your PC's specs against the game requirements – sometimes, you just need more RAM! Lastly, update your graphics card drivers. Outdated drivers and Fallout 4 don't mix well.
Mods, mods, mods. They make the game awesome but also unstable. I had to disable half of mine to stop the crashes. It's a balancing act.
It's simple: Fallout 4 hates your PC. Just kidding! But seriously, check your system's compatibility, update everything, and maybe lower your graphics settings. That last part worked for me.
Honestly? It's probably just bugs. Bethesda games are known for being a bit... quirky. Save often and pray to the gaming gods.
