Why has GTA 6 taken so long?
Rockstar Games has a rep for perfectionism, so they're probably taking their sweet time making sure GTA 6 meets sky-high expectations. Plus, each GTA game ups the ante with bigger worlds and more complex stories. They’re crafting an entire universe that's gotta outdo the last one, so yeah, it's gonna take a hot minute.

People need to chill. A masterpiece takes time, and GTA 6 is gonna be exactly that. I'd rather wait for a game that's gonna blow my mind than get something rushed and full of bugs.
Honestly, I think they're making us wait because they can. GTA 5 is still selling like crazy, so why rush? Plus, the longer they wait, the more we drool over any tiny sneak peek. It's all part of the hype machine.
Short answer? Quality takes time. Rockstar doesn't wanna release a half-baked game. They’re cooking up something massive and they won’t serve it till it's just right.
