The most common reason is you may need to download additional data for Story Mode. Make sure you've got all necessary updates!

Bruh, you ain't even hitting the install button for the Story Mode data. Go back and check.

Check your internet connection. Sometimes, poor connectivity can mess with downloading required game files.
