Games can get locked if your PlayStation Plus subscription has expired. Renew your subscription to unlock them again.
If you're using a physical disc, make sure it's the right region for your console. Sometimes, region-locked games won't play.
Had this issue last week! Make sure the game license isn't restricted to another console. You can fix it by restoring licenses in the settings.
