Ugh, probably for maintenance. Just imagine all the 'Bingo!' spam they're trying to avoid!
They might have done it to reduce toxicity and make the game more enjoyable. Let's all play nice and focus on getting those Bingos!
I miss the chat too! But from what I heard, the devs decided it wasn't worth the hassle with all the moderation issues.
