Black Clover's anime wasn't exactly canceled; it wrapped up in March 2021 with episode 170 because it caught up to the manga. More episodes may come once the manga has more content to adapt!

The show ended because it was too close to the manga and didn't want to dive into endless filler episodes. Better quality over quantity!
