Blood Moon is a powerhouse in MTG because it turns all nonbasic lands into basic Mountains. This is huge because it can severely disrupt your opponent's mana base, especially in formats where decks rely heavily on a variety of nonbasic lands to function smoothly. It forces opponents to play with what they have, often limiting their ability to cast spells or execute their strategy.

It's all about the control! Blood Moon lets you mess with your opponent's plans big time. Playing a deck that's heavy on nonbasic lands? Boom, Blood Moon hits the table, and suddenly you're scrambling to find red mana. Plus, it's a great way to level the playing field against decks that are way more expensive.

Overrated. Sure, it messes with lands, but if your deck isn't built to take advantage of the chaos it creates, you're just playing a card that looks scary but does nada for your winning strategy.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
