No official reason has been given, but it’s likely due to the costs of maintaining the game outweighing the revenue it generates.
Disney Crossy Road is shutting down because Disney and Hipster Whale decided to stop supporting it. Sometimes, even great things come to an end!
Been playing since day one – it’s a bummer! My guess is they want to divert their resources to other more popular titles.
