Hot take: It's only bad if you're comparing it to the godly animation of other high-budget anime. Enjoy it for the epic fights and story, folks.
It鈥檚 mostly because some episodes were rushed to meet tight deadlines, leading to lower-quality animation. Not every episode is bad, but the early ones definitely had some rough spots!
From my experience, the animation quality improved in later episodes and during critical fight scenes. The Goku vs. Jiren fight? Pure gold!
Honestly, it's not that bad if you consider how many episodes they had to pump out. Give the animators a break; they're not Saiyans!
