Why is Fallout 4 moving so fast?
Oh, the zoomies? Happens to the best of us in Fallout 4. It's usually because of a frame rate issue. The game's physics are tied to its frame rate, so if your FPS (Frames Per Second) goes above 60, things can start getting wacky fast. Try capping your FPS to 60 or enabling V-Sync in your graphics settings to keep the speed normal.

Lol, are you sure you're not just playing on turbo mode? Just kidding. If you're on PC, it's definitely a frame rate thing like the other folks mentioned. Cap it at 60 and you should be golden.
I had the same issue, thought I was losing my mind. Fixed it by forcing V-Sync through my NVIDIA Control Panel. Smooth sailing at normal speed after that. Highly recommend giving that a shot if you haven't!
