It's likely because your device or console is set to limit the performance to preserve battery life and prevent overheating. Check your settings and see if there's an option to unlock higher FPS.

Fortnite is capped at 30 FPS on some devices to maintain stable performance and avoid lag. Upgrading your hardware can help.

Fortnite might be capped at 30 FPS because you're playing on a device with limited hardware capabilities, like a lower-end console or mobile device. Try switching to a higher-end PC or console if you want to up your FPS game!

I had the same issue! It turned out I needed to update my graphics drivers and adjust the in-game settings to uncap the FPS.

If you're a Fortnite player looking for extra v-bucks, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Fortnite gift card, which you can win and use to get v-bucks essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
