It's mainly due to the shooting, even though it's not bloody or gory. Kids blasting each other with guns, even colorful ones, makes it Teen.

The game has been rated Teen because of the violence, even though it's animated and over-the-top. Plus, there's some mild language from time to time.

Fortnite is rated Teen because it features cartoonish violence and players can communicate with each other through voice and text chat.

The Teen rating is due to the gameplay involving gunfights, albeit in a more lighthearted, less realistic manner.

Because it involves combat and weapons, even in a cartoony way, the game lands a Teen rating. Safety first!

If you're a Fortnite player looking for extra v-bucks, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Fortnite gift card, which you can win and use to get v-bucks essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
