Grand Theft Auto IV isn't on PS4 because it was released in 2008, way before the PS4's launch in 2013, and Rockstar didn't create a remastered version for the newer console. However, you can still enjoy it on PS3 or via backward compatibility on newer Xbox consoles or PC.

Oh boy, GTA IV not being on PS4 is a total bummer! It's all about timing and tech. When GTA IV hit the streets, PS4 wasn鈥檛 even a thing. By the time PS4 rolled around, Rockstar was already deep into GTA V. So, they never went back to give IV the PS4 treatment. Your best bet is to check it out on its original platforms or stream it if you've got the setup for it!

Simply put, Rockstar didn't remaster GTA IV for PS4. They moved straight to GTA V.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
