It's all about the money. Rockstar is probably focusing on GTA 6 and keeping GTA Online updated because that's where the cash is. Remastering GTA 4 for PS5 isn't likely high on their priority list, especially with the hype around new titles.

Rockstar hasn't said anything official, but my guess? They're focusing on bigger fish like the upcoming GTA 6. Remastering an older game like GTA 4 for PS5 probably isn't as appealing for them, financially or strategically.

Simple reason, my friend: GTA 4 hasn't been remastered or adapted by Rockstar Games for the PS5's architecture yet. The PS5 can play a ton of PS4 games thanks to backward compatibility, but for older games like GTA 4, it's a bit more complicated. They'd need to either develop a remastered version specifically for the newer consoles or update the existing game to be compatible, and so far, Rockstar hasn't done this for GTA 4.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
