They gotta make room for new games, simple as that. GTA 5 had a good run, but all good things come to an end.

GTA 5's departure from Game Pass is like a celebrity leaving a party; it's big news, but not the end of the world. Typically, games rotate in and out of Game Pass due to agreements between the game publishers and Microsoft. It's just GTA 5's time to step out, but hey, it opens the door for newer titles to shine!

As someone who's been through a few 'Game Pass goodbyes,' I think GTA 5 leaving is because publishers like Rockstar Games decide it's time to move on. Maybe it's a strategy to boost direct game sales? Either way, it's a bummer but not a deal-breaker.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
