In my experience, the new studio gave it a fresh look, but it kept the same wild story and characters. It threw me at first, but I got used to it!

The studio changed for High School DxD Hero to Passione, which brought a new art style that some fans noticed right away!

Switching to Passione for this season explains the differences in art and story pacing. Plus, they adapted more closely to the light novels.
