Hot Wheels Race Off is shutting down because, like all good things, it sometimes comes to an end. Might be due to low player numbers, the cost of keeping the game updated, or the developers deciding to focus on new projects. It's a bummer, but hey, that's the life cycle of many digital games.

Server costs aren't cheap, and if a game isn't pulling its weight in players or revenue, it's hard to justify keeping it going. Plus, shifting focus to new projects can be a fresh start for developers.

If love Hot Wheels, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Several of those prizes are trending Hot Wheels, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
