Why is it Called Tiger Knee in Street Fighter?
ReoccuringRace路3 months agoIt's called the Tiger Knee because it's the signature move of Sagat in Street Fighter. He shouts 'Tiger!' while performing a jumping knee strike. Classic Sagat move!

The name comes from Sagat, the Muay Thai master in Street Fighter, who has several 'Tiger' moves. His knee strike while yelling 'Tiger' just stuck with fans.
