Licensing issues can sometimes cause certain players to be left out. Hopefully, he'll be added in future updates!

Marcelo Mayer isn't in MLB The Show 24 because he's still working his way up the minor leagues.

Probably because Marcelo Mayer hasn't made it to the MLB yet! The Show usually includes players already in the majors.
