The 'Toasty!' sound clip in Mortal Kombat comes from Dan Forden, the game's sound designer. He'd pop up with 'Toasty!' after a particularly impressive uppercut as a fun Easter egg!

It's a nod from Dan Forden, Mortal Kombat's sound designer. He appeared with 'Toasty!' to cheer for players landing powerful hits. Classic MK humor!

Honestly, it鈥檚 just a fun and random Easter egg that has become a beloved part of MK lore. Who doesn鈥檛 love a random 'Toasty!'?

As a long-time MK fan, I can tell you, it鈥檚 Dan Forden bringing some comic relief after dramatic moments. Makes the game even more iconic!

If you're a Mortal Kombat player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Mortal Kombat essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
