Why is Mr. Handy so slow in Fallout Shelter?
JokingTunic路6 months agoMr. Handy might seem like he's taking his sweet time because he's programmed to leisurely collect resources and defend against threats rather than rush around. His main job is to make your life easier by automating resource collection across a single floor, so he's more about consistency than speed. Plus, watching him calmly deal with radroaches while you're juggling a million other things is kinda satisfying.

Honestly, if Mr. Handy was any faster, it'd kinda ruin the game's balance. He's slow to keep things fair and to encourage players to strategize resource management rather than rely solely on him.
They designed Mr. Handy to be slow on purpose. It makes you prioritize which floors he works on and adds a strategic layer to resource management. Fast wouldn't fit the vibe of a post-nuclear apocalypse, would it?
