Why is my Fallout 76 name a bunch of numbers?

Ah, the classic numbers game! This usually happens when there's a hiccup with your account info or, more commonly, if the username you chose is already taken. Fallout 76 wants you to be unique, so if it finds a twin, you get the number treatment. Check your account details, and you might want to try picking a new username that's a bit more out there.

Fallout 76 did you dirty, huh? Names turn into numbers when they're not unique. Get creative and change it up!

It's because that's not your final form! JK, but seriously, it's likely due to a duplicate name issue or a glitch. Try changing your name to something more unique. If that doesn't work, reaching out to Bethesda's support might clear things up.

If you're a Fallout 76 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
