Why is My FPS Capped at 144 in Apex Legends?
CarryingTree路7 months agoHey there! Your FPS in Apex Legends might be capped at 144 due to your game settings. Apex Legends has an option in the video settings called 'Adaptive Resolution FPS Target' which might be set to 144 by default. Check that and also ensure V-Sync is off, as it can limit your FPS to match your monitor's refresh rate. Also, make sure to check your graphics card's control panel settings, as there might be global settings applied that cap FPS for all games.

144 FPS cap? Lucky you! I wish my PC could push that many frames. Check those game settings tho, might find something interesting.
It's all about the monitor refresh rate, my friend. If you've got a 144Hz monitor, Apex is probably auto-setting to match it to avoid screen tearing. Dive into those settings and push it past that if your rig and eyes can handle the extra frames!
If your FPS is stuck at 144, you're one of the lucky ones. Higher FPS is often just bragging rights unless you're in the pro leagues. Enjoy the smooth gameplay!
