Why is my Grand Theft Auto 5 not installing?
EmptyingDaisy路7 months agoMake sure you check your system's specs first - GTA V can be pretty demanding. If your system meets the requirements, try clearing some space on your hard drive. Insufficient space is a common culprit. Also, pause and resume the download; sometimes it just needs a little nudge to get going again.

Had the same issue, turned out my antivirus was blocking the install thinking it was suspicious. Try temporarily disabling your antivirus software and see if that fixes the issue. Make sure to turn it back on after!
Your disk might be dirty or damaged. If you're installing from a physical copy, check the disk for any scratches or dirt.
Just restart your PC/console and your internet router. It's the classic 'turn it off and on again' method, but you'd be surprised how often it works.
Are you sure it's not already installed? Sometimes it installs but doesn't show up right away. Check your library or game list thoroughly.
