Might be your console or PC's issue, not GTA. My buddy had the same problem and it turned out his hard drive was nearly full. Cleaned up some space and bam, back to causing chaos in Los Santos.
It's probably a sign you should take a break, lol. But for real, check your internet connection and make sure your game's updated.
Just restart your game or console, works like a charm most of the time.
