Happened to me too! Try switching your account from a business profile to a personal profile. Worked like a charm for me!
Possible hot take: Instagram's music feature plays nice in some regions but not others. If you're using a VPN, try turning it off.
Make sure you have a stable internet connection! This has been a culprit more times than I'd like to admit.
