Check if your game is connecting to the nearest server. Sometimes, Fortnite assigns you to a faraway server for no good reason.
Could be that your Wi-Fi is weak. Try connecting directly with an ethernet cable for a smoother experience.
Too many devices on the same network? Try disconnecting some to see if your ping improves.
Make sure your network drivers are up to date. Old drivers can sometimes cause network issues. Learned this the hard way!
