First things first, check if your HDMI cable is plugged in properly and isn't damaged. You'd be surprised how often it's something this simple!

Win official PlayStation gift cards by playing games on Playbite!

Sometimes it's the HDMI port acting up. Try switching the HDMI cable to a different port on your TV. If that doesn't work, try a different HDMI cable just in case.

Hot take: Your TV might not be set to the correct HDMI input. Make sure you've selected the right HDMI port on your TV's input menu.

Do a quick system software update on your PS4 if you can. Outdated software can sometimes cause connectivity issues.

Had the same issue last week! Try rebooting your PS4 and TV. Unplug them for a few minutes and then plug them back in. Worked like a charm for me.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
