It's probably because of a heavy gaming session. Intense graphics can make the fan work harder. Take a break and let it cool down.

It could be overheating. Make sure it's in a well-ventilated area and not enclosed in a cabinet.

Your PS5 might sound like a jet engine because of dust buildup. Try cleaning the vents with compressed air!

You might have a noisy fan. Some PS5s just come with fans that are a bit loud. If it's unbearable, reach out to Sony support.

Honestly, some PS5s are just loud. Play with headphones on and enjoy your game without distractions!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
